    Antonios K. Alexandridis is an Assistant Professor in Financial Derivatives at the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Macedonia. Previously he taught at the University of Kent, UK. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance (University of Macedonia, 2010), a Master’s Degree in Financial Mathematics from Heriot-Watt University, UK (2004), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics with a focus in Finance from the University of Crete (2003). He has 18 publications in reputable international scientific journals (e.g., Journal of Financial Markets, International Journal of Forecasting, Neural Networks, Journal of the Operational Research Society, International Journal of Finance and Economics, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Journal of Futures Markets, Swarm and Evolutionary Computation), as well as 2 monographs with international publishers in the fields of weather derivatives modelling and pricing and machine learning (Springer, Wiley and Sons). He has successfully completed 13 funded projects. He has provided consulting services to various companies such as Cerved Property Services, South East Water (UK), and Eurobank Property Services. Antonios Alexandridis specializes in the fields of weather derivatives, weather risk management and machine learning.
